Everyday life can present us with many different types of stress. This online workshop will provide you with strategies to build resilience and manage stress both at work and at home.

In this workshop you will learn about different types and sources of stress and understand reactions to stress. Importantly, the workshop will explore the relationship between performance and pressure.

Participants will learn:

  • The different types and sources of stress
  • Individual reactions to stress – physiological, psychological and behavioural
  • Recognising when you may be experiencing ‘negative’ stress
  • Strategies that you can use to manage your stress both at work and at home
  • The relationship between performance and pressure
  • Strategies to manage your ongoing stress and to build resilience.

This workshop is ideal for workers and volunteers in community organisations who are managing stressful situations with clients and colleagues.
