Website development for business – Wednesday, March 18

The Website Development for Business workshop by the City of Boroondara is a practical training session designed to help business owners create or upgrade their business websites. It covers foundational knowledge such as understanding website terminology, choosing suitable website platforms and hosting options, and identifying essential pages like About and Contact.

Participants also learn about key website features (e.g., privacy and cookies policies), how to plan and produce effective content (images, text, video), and how to build their site with search engine optimisation (SEO) in mind from the start.

The session is presented by digital educator Sue Ellson and forms part one of a two-part series, followed by a more advanced workshop focused on SEO and AI-driven search results.
